특별세션은 지구를 살리고, 지속가능한 플래닛을 위해 앞장서 온 4명의 작은영웅 ‘H.eco Awards 2021’수상팀으로 꾸며진다. 헤럴드는 지속가능한 환경 보전에 기여한 개인과 단체의 공적을 기리고 기후위기 대응에 대한 사회적 실천을 도모하자는 취지로 지난해 이 상을 제정, 첫 공모에 나선 바 있다. 이번 특별세션에서는 ‘기후위기 취약계층’과 ‘환경정의’ 를 키워드로 각자의 활동내역을 공유하고 기후위기의 또 다른 이면을 제대로 살피고, 그로 인해 파생되는 불평등의 간극을 좁히기 위해 필요한 것들에 대해 함께 논의한다.

The special session will bring together four winners of the H.eco Awards 2021. They have been at the forefront of saving the planet. The award was established by Herald last year to honor the achievements of individuals and organizations that contributed to sustainable environmental preservation and promote social practice in responding to the climate crisis. In this session, the winners will share their activities relevant to the climate crisis vulnerable and environmental justice. As a result, they will discuss what is needed to narrow the gap in inequality.
