2030년까지 '순환경제'는 유일한 해법

석유의 종말이 빠르게 다가오고 있다. 석유나 가스 등의 자원이 부족해서가 아닌, 더 이상 수익성이 좋은 사업이 아니기 때문이다. 2030년의 ‘유일한’ 경제모형은 순환경제가 될 것이다. 우리 사회가 해야 해서가 아닌, 할 수 있기 때문이며 막대한 경제적 기회를 제공하기 때문이다. 현재 인류는 갈림길에 놓여 있다. 앞으로 10년 동안 우리가 하기로 결정하는 것이 우리의 미래를 정의할 것이다. 

The end of oil is approaching fast. Not because we will be out of oil or gas resources but because it won’t be a lucrative business any longer. In 2030, the ONLY economy will be the circular economy - not just because we have to but also because we can, and because it represents a vast economic opportunity. We are at THE fork in the road of humanity: whatever we decide to do in the next 10 years will define our future, period.
