우리는 기후 정의를 위해 싸웁니다

(We fight for climate justice)

기후위기는 배제적, 차별적 시스템이 낳은 문제이다. 나와 같은 청소년은 여전히 이 문제의 당사자임에도 논의 테이블에 참여하지 못한다. 하지만 청소년도 당사자이며, 지금 나는 당사자로서 목소리를 내고 있다. 정치, 정책, 시스템의 유의미한 변화를 만들기 위해 행동하고 있다. 개인적 실천만으로 해결할 수 없음에 공감하고 연대를 통해 사회적 구조변화, 정부와 정치의 변화를 외치고 있다. 

아직은 기후위기를 막을 수 있는 시간이 있다. 그리고 함께 연대해서 목소리를 낸다면 변화를 만들 수 있다. 기후위기를 ‘아는 것’에서 멈추지 말고 적극적 변화를 만들어 가자. 여러분 모두 우리의 동료가 되어주길 바란다.

Climate crisis is a problem created by an exclusive and discriminatory system. Young adult like myself cannot participate in the discussion table even though we are involved in this matter. They are also the party of impact, and now I would like to speak out on behalf of the party. Currently, we are putting an action to make meaningful changes in politics, policies, and systems. We sympathize with the fact that this cannot be solved by individual practices only, and we speak up for a change in social structure and government and politics through solidarity. 

There is still time left to prevent the climate crisis. If we raise our voice together in solidarity, we can make a difference. Let us not stop at merely ‘knowing’ what climate crisis is but instead start making positive changes. I hope you all become our companion.
